I had an experience on the way to work this morning. A section of road I usually travel was flooded out.
I quickly turned and went through a series of stop lights and traffic to get to work. Getting angrier as I went.
The lesson is that my normal routine was interrupted and I reacted without thinking. It was only after the third stoplight that I realized I made a mistake.
Where have you leapt before you looked recently?
The next time you have your normal flow interrupted, stop for a sec and think about your options.
Theres something to be said for gut instinct but there’s as much to say for evaluating options.
