There’s a driving phenomenon where a person making a left will turn before the first oncoming car crosses an intersection. It’s called a Pittsburgh Left.

It’s dangerous and most importantly, it’s annoying.

Think about how we conduct ourselves in the productivity space. We can, as many do, rush to completion in the process endangering ourselves and others.

I understand competitiveness and wanting to look better than others.

A friend of mine once told me that we you right on the bleeding edge, eventually you’ll get cut.

Take a moment and think about where you tend to leap then look. It is worth the risk? It the benefit worth the danger?

Some things take time and trying to shortcut it only results in chaos.
