Everyone likes hitting home runs. Literal or otherwise. There’s glory in rounding the bases.
The thing is, it’s not that easy. It is much easier to hit a single.
Plunk. And you’re on base.
You can’t hit a home run every time you’re at bat. You can’t hit a single every time either. You are WAY more likely to hit a single.
My point is that swinging for the fences is noble, but the consistency of singles is much more productive.
Think about a small win you can get everyday and then strive to do that. Make that small thing your number one priority. Make it a habit.
If you “hit” a single in your daily life, make small winning moves, you’ll find yourself MUCH more likely to achieve your goals.
