A major issue is risk. Risk can kill a project. I’ve seen it.
The problem is that people confuse risk with facts.
Risks are things that MIGHT happen. Building a building a flood zone in the rainy season? You better put flooding down as a risk. Water destroying work MIGHT happen. It also MIGHT not.
Thanksgiving WILL happen. It’s a fact. I can even predict each year when it will fall. Your planning for thanksgiving is different than for a flood.
