I’m an amateur meteorologist. I love the weather. Spring time is prime time.
A few days ago a “big” weather event was forecast. Doomsday scenario. As bad as it gets.
And nothing really happened. The normal “weathermen overhyping things” rhetoric was rampant the day after.
The lesson here is about failure. I’ve written about it before and I don’t like to dwell on it. Focusing too much on failure diverts energy from success.
Still, the events of the week drive the point home: you can do your best and still things go south. Those forecasters did the best they possibly could. It still wasn’t enough.
