News flash: things don’t always go according to plan.

John Maxwell, an evangelical leadership teacher, offers that the need for teamwork is both biblical and practical. Without teamwork, you’re doomed especially when things go wrong.

He lists four items for consideration that allow leaders to shift their thinking in times of peril.

It’s pretty basic stuff: focus on the team and the outcomes the group is striving to achieve.

That’s a lesson that applies across all the domains of your life. You don’t accomplish great things alone. Work to help your team (whatever that team might be) visualize the goal. Create a unified vision for the group. That will create cohesion and get to over the finish line sooner.
