Work is work. We have a tendency to believe that the harder we work, or the more we work, will equal productivity.

And yet, there are people who seem to glide through life with a minimum of effort and accomplish great things.

Its aggravating when you feel like your effort isn’t producing results.

Harvard Business Review published a study on this exact topic. There are lots of different conclusions, but the main take away is that you need to both understand the work you are doing AND effectively plan that work.

I’m a bit believer in planning. Tomorrow will start this afternoon when I plan tomorrow.

When I have a plan, I get more done. Period.
