I’ve read my fair share of the “classics” by all the well known business development writers. Rohn, Kiyosaki, Godin to name a few. Some have been very insightful. Others, not so much. I’ll get to what books to avoid in another post.

I recently finished a book first published in 1948. Despite being 70+ years old, I found the advice refreshing and timely.

How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie describes, in exacting detail, how to (basically) get over yourself.

We all struggle with the unknowns of life. It’s easy to get caught up in the tailspin of worry. What’s going to happen? Will I be ok? What about my kids?

There’s a better way. Deal with things before worry and anxiety wreck your life.
